Comments from Matt Majkrzak (Wisconsin Jets Program Director and 17U Coach):

“The Wisconsin Jets went 6-0 at the Dakota Showcase riding balanced scoring and the hot shooting of Tim Wagner. While Wagner led the Dakota Showcase in scoring, averaging 17.7 PPG, all five starters averaged over 9. The Jets won their games by an average margin of 18 points per game. After winning their pool and advancing to the All-Wisconsin Final Four (Wisconsin Jets and Wisconsin Blizzard Kellett/Hawley/Mielke) with a hard fought 6 point victory over the South Dakota Heat, the Jets faced familiar and tough opponents in the Wisconsin Blizzard team’s Hawley and Kellett. In the championship, Tim Wagner made seven threes and scored 24 points to propel the Jets to a 64-49 victory and the tournament championship. Tim Wagner was named Tournament MVP.”
